Tobin attacks anti-globalisation movement on tax
In an interview in Der Spiegel on Sunday Mr Tobin said 'his' tax has no future and that his name is being abused by anti-globalisation groups. He said his tax stands no chance because financial leaders are against it. The purpose of the tax was to stop speculative financial transactions to avoid crises, not to raise money for a cause.
