Ombudsman promotes good administrative behaviour

The European Ombudsman, Joseph Söderman, has published the European Code of Good Administrative Behaviour on his website in a bid to encourage the Commission to put it into law. Mr Söderman said that it was also important for both European citizens and EU officials to be aware of the code, which is based on the right to good administration that is detailed in Article 41 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights.
