European Convention to discuss EU's competences and legal instruments
On Thursday 23 and Friday 24 May, the Convention on the future of Europe will meet for the fourth time in Brussels, to discuss how the EU should carry out its mission, from the perspective of legitimacy and efficiency. The Convention members will have an opportunity to further tackle the issue of the competences of the Union and the instruments it needs to carry those out.
