EU-Journalistentraining 2011 in Berlin und Brüssel
Die Bewerbungsfrist für das EU Journalism Fellowship 2011 der Robert Bosch Stiftung und der Fondation EURACTIV für EU-interessierte Journalisten hat begonnen. Das Training sieht ein Einführungsseminar in Berlin und einen mehrwöchigen Arbeitsaufenthalt in Brüssel vor. Die Reise- und Aufenthaltskosten werden übernommen.
Die Bewerbungsfrist für das EU Journalism Fellowship 2011 der Robert Bosch Stiftung und der Fondation EURACTIV für EU-interessierte Journalisten hat begonnen. Das Training sieht ein Einführungsseminar in Berlin und einen mehrwöchigen Arbeitsaufenthalt in Brüssel vor. Die Reise- und Aufenthaltskosten werden übernommen.
Das Einführungsseminar des EU Journalism Fellowship 2011 beginnt am 24. Januar 2011 in Berlin (im Haus der Bundespressekonferenz) in Kooperation mit EURACTIV Deutschland. Das Berlin-Training dauert eine Woche.
Mitte Februar wird nach einem Auswahlverfahren ein mehrwöchiges Training in Kooperation mit der Fondation EURACTIV in Brüssel fortgesetzt.
Das Fellowship vermittelt jungen Journalisten Erfahrungen in der EU-Politik und in Online-Medien und fördert das Networking über die nationalen Grenzen hinweg. "Mit diesem Trainingsprogramm wollen wir dazu beitragen, dass das Thema Europa in den Medien stärker sichtbar wird", erklärt Christian Hänel, stellvertretender Bereichsleiter des Programmbereichs Völkerverständigung Westeuropa, Amerika, Türkei, Japan, Indien der Robert Bosch Stiftung.
Für 2011 werden zwölf junge Journalisten ausgewählt: jeweils zwei aus Frankreich, Großbritannien, Polen und Spanien und zusätzlich vier aus Deutschland (zwei aus regionalen und zwei aus überregionalen Medien).

EU journalist training 2011 in Berlin and Brussels
Applications for the EU Journalism Fellowship 2011, a project of Robert Bosch Stiftung and Fondation EURACTIV are welcome as of now. The Fellowship is an innovative training programme for young journalists interested in European Union politics and policies. One week of training in Berlin will be followed by a working stay in Brussels. Participants will be reimbursed for their travel costs and living expenses.
The introductory seminar of the EU Journalism Fellowship 2011 will begin on January 24, 2011 in Berlin (in the house of the Federal Press Conference) in cooperation with EURACTIV Germany. The training in Berlin will take one week.
After a selection process, the training is continued by mid-February in cooperation with Fondation EURACTIV lasting for several weeks.
The Fellowship is aimed at young journalists interested in gaining experience on EU politics and policies and online media and facilitates networking across national borders. "With this training programme, we want to contribute to a higher visibility of European issues in the media”, explains Christian Hänel, deputy Head of Dept. International Relations Western Europe, America, Turkey, Japan, India of the Robert Bosch Stiftung.
12 young journalists will be selected for 2011: two journalists from France, the United Kingdom, Poland and Spain and four from Germany (two from regional and two from national media institutions).
