EU increases diplomatic pressure on Israel
The Commission President, Romano Prodi, said on 8 April that the EU might review its Association Agreement with Israel because of its military offensive in the West Bank. Mr Prodi stressed that the Israeli government "must immediately pull out its forces from recently occupied territories".
