Council informed about telecoms framework developments
The Presidency briefed the EU Telecoms ministers on 15 October on the state of play of the "telecoms package". By updating the Council, the Presidency wants to avoid a conciliation procedure between the Parliament and the Council and ensure adoption of the package by the end of the year.
