Commission sets greener example
The Commission has set an environmentally responsible example by deciding to apply the EU's Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) to its own operations. It claims that EMAS will provide it with a clear picture of the environmental impact of its activities which will allow it to improve its environmental performance and thereby make organisational and financial savings.
