Commission proposes new rules for asylum applications
The Commission adopted on 26 July a proposal for a Regulation on new rules to determine which Member State is responsible for examining a demand for asylum. If adopted by the European Parliament and the Member States, the proposed Regulation will replace the current system for asylum applications based on the Dublin Convention.
