Commission enlargement reports to chart the course of accession
The Commission will publish its fourth annual report on the progress of the 13 candidate countries on 13 November. The reports will state the candidates' progress in the past year and recommend steps to be taken in the short term that will enable the most advanced countries to conclude accession negotiations in 2002 and join the EU in 2004.
